Man Boy Bygone Me

Enchanted by greed for sight
the man made noise with his hands.

Sick of playing the pale boy
turns seriously to a spider.

Forced to be satisfied by culture
one blanket is enough for the cold.

No I am not in denial
I will let myself be enchanted.

The man viewed his wrinkles
in erosion in the foothills.

The boy re-tied loose shoes
and started up the trail.

Soon they were so elevated
cities were memories.

No I am not a rejectionist as
I finger the marbles in my pocket.
